torque is an on-line magazine for the off-road, rock-crawling, and custom 4-wheeling enthusiast. It features new articles, events and aftermarket product reviews.

An update to the UI/UX of Southeast Georgia Health System web site. The challenge was to simplify, clarify and make more relevant the process of finding complex and varied information and to more consistently represent the brand image of the entire health system. This was accomplished through consistent use of branded color, simplified navigation, clear and consistent hierarchy of information and utilization of a more clean and modern flatter style.

Also shown are examples of how this new branding carried throughout the medical system's more traditional communication and advertising efforts as illustrated in it's use on physician group marketing materials.

Mosquito Communications is a marketing communications firm serving small to mid-sized organizations. Their tagline "Big ideas for Little Guys" emphasized their belief that the size of an organization has little to do with the sizable impact Mosquito can have on their market.

Chandler's Building on Commitment Program is a fund raising program to solicit funds for the building of new facility for the hospital in Chandler, AZ. The effort was to create awareness and give donors a portal to make donations. 

The Tesla Model S is elemental. It's beauty is in it's speed accomplished with so few moving parts. It strikes a sophisticated profile. It's highly technical, yet all this hides behind a simple and sleek package that arouses emotions. It's meant to exude quality and integrity but at the same time be extremely efficient both in energy and superfluous details. Therefore, its user interface should compliment its brand.

This is a speculative project that was never produced. My involvement included establishing user profiles and development of moodboards, low fidelity sketches, medium fidelity wireframes, icon design and development, design and layout of all modules concepts shown.

escape is a franchised family entertainment centers that offered later bowling, laser tag, batting cages and fire grill restaurant named Grillworks. My involvement was in the naming and identity of these facilities as well as art direction of the promotional, advertising and collateral communication pieces.

Quench! is a single user app designed to both determine your personal hydration needs and to set up a personal hydration program to keep you on target toward reaching your optimal hydration goals. It provides periodic reminders throughout the day to take in fluid, a simple way to record fluid intake and at-a-glance graphic depictions of your progress while reaching your personalized hydration goals.

My involvement on this speculative project included user profiles, moodboards, low, medium and high fidelity wireframes, Marvel prototype, design of icon sets, and design and layout of all screen states and actions.

New Identity and brand standards for a leading medical center in western Pennsylvania. In coordination with Springboard Brand and Creative Strategy .

Promotional identity for the Galena/Jo Daviess County, IL Chamber of Commerce and advertisements promoting the family-oriented benefits of visiting historic Galena, IL

Kish Health system wanted to evolve and update their identity to reflect the growing and more complex nature of their offerings. Their logo was evaluated and tested in focus groups and positive attributes were retained while making modifications to the structure to accommodate Kish's growing services. After this,  advertising and collateral were developed.

For North Mississippi Medical Center, my work has begun with brand identity and spanned every form of print and digital advertising media. Shown are a sampling of what has been done for NMMC.

Creation of a comprehensive marketing kit and guidebook assisting dermatologist to increase consumers awareness of the benefits of choosing an ASDS certified dermatologist. The kit was sent to member dermatologist and included co-branded templates and sample including ways to order marketing materials including print and digital advertising, print and digital newsletters, posters, static-cling widow certification widow signs, a primer on social media marketing and guidebook outlining how to effectively promote dermatologic practices. This simple boxed set has been successfully received and is responsible for increasing consumer preferences for ASDS member dermatologic surgeons.

Alexian Brothers Medicine offers world class health services that rivals inner city health facilities. The challenge was to convince referring physicians in their own community that when life-saving neuroscience services were required, there was no need to have their patients travel long distances to receive world-class treatments. This effort included a two tiered approach to both referring physicians and patients they serve. This was accomplished through physician liaison teams and an information and referral kit delivered to referring physicians.

Shown here are the physician referral guide folder, the patient guide that physician provided their patients, a CD outlining the program, a physician reference guide that listed specialist to refer to, and pad-bound referral sheets that provided referral information to patients, and maps of locations.

Advertising campaign designed to lead inner city millennials to its website to educate about the importance of proper warm up to keep joints healthy and prevent later life problems.

When Stanly Tools acquired a major fastening tool manufacturer and required incorporating its 247 SKU's of product into a new plan-o-gram within a 3 month time frame for introduction at the International Hardware Show, it took a major undertaking to accomplish the feat on time and on budget. After many sleepless nights and long weekends, it was successfully accomplished. As an added benefit, it won the prestigious Dealers Choice Award at the show.

Sunzi Products is a consortium of overseas home care, automotive care, durable goods and garden care products manufacturers that produce products for many well known brand manufacturers marketed in the United States. They market their products under the Sunzi corporate name as branded product lines; Cameleon, NexTool, GardenPower and NexLED (formerly NexLite) in big box home centers and home shopping networks.

My involvement was to create scaleable identities for each branded product line, create brand standards for all lines. design all packaging, merchandising and literature for all brand lines; trade show material and booth design, new product conceptual drawings, on-product graphics, web site and eCommerce sites for brand lines.

StrentghTime is a franchised personal training gym that utilizes a slow-movement progressive resistance training technique and provides highly effective results in a shortened workout time requirement. This concept was conveyed in their brand identity and carried throughout their advertising, literature, website and promotional materials.

Located in Philadelphia, the Jefferson brand consists of the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Jefferson Medical College and the Kimmel Cancer Center. Their goal was to align all under a master brand strategy named simply jefferson. It’s identity was very clear and concise and was included on all facets of their communication as spelled out in a comprehensive brand manual which I designed in conjunction with Springboard Brand and Creative Strategy of Arlington Heights, IL.

The Illinois Health and Hospital Association is dedicated to advocating for Illinois’ more than 200 hospitals and nearly 50 health systems as they serve patients and communities throughout the state. For over 5 years, I have worked in conjunction with Springboard Brand & Creative Strategy, to provide advice on IHAs brand identity and provide digital and print materials for many of IHA’s partners as well as materials for their annual Summit Conferences.
